ATL: Read critically and for comprehension
Okay... we can easily empathise here... just watch and allow it all to happen. Listen to the music to helps us know how to feel... But what about reading a film critically? Is such a thing possible? Yes... we have to know what we are reading. Just as a story has building blocks of words, sentences, paragraphs and chapters, so a film has frames, scenes, sequences.... Just as a book has imagery and pace and sound of words; so film has camera angles and movement and soundtrack; colour and order and... So much to learn and so little time...
